Join AJAG to positively influence government policy

Last week Mobile Doctors hosted a dinner where Andrew Dismore presented on the proposed reforms to the personal injury process to representatives of some of the most influential and important organisations operating in the PI market. Using his vast experience of Parliamentary process Andrew was able to advise the group on the best strategy to positively influence the outcome of the consultation.

Many of the attendees expressed a desire to construct a positive action group to develop the Government’s Jackson proposals in a direction more sympathetic to the injured party. At the dinner Darren Werth agreed to take the lead on this project and has formed the Access to Justice Action Group (AJAG); a short term, cross trade organisation with very specific goals.

The group wants lawyers, CMCs, AMCs, MROs, consumer groups, ATE insurers, BTE insurers, unions etc. all to contribute. The bottom line is that you have until February 14th (with Christmas in-between) to respond to the consultation. With the urgency of action in mind a meeting date has been proposed for 3PM on Tuesday 7th December in London to collectively agree how to move forward

We are helping to facilitate this meeting and urgently need your responses as to whether or not you can attend. We apologise for the short notice but time is not on our side. Please also let me know of others who wish to attend - the group would like the entire claimant side of the industry there.

Please confirm attendance to: paul.crowther@mobile-doctors.co.uk
